There is a new update for The Last Drifters App ready for you to try out, there have a been a couple of changes to the way things work.
There has been a minor update to the user interface: the vehicle’s menu options have been changed (Change ID Name, Upgrade, and Delete) these now all have dedicated action buttons.
The second update is that the vehicle type now shows on dataseheet and PDF print out for each vehicle. This of course is useful for when you’ve assigned names to the vehicles and overwritten the original name.
And then there is the new Scenario Generator… Yep there is now a simple scenario generator for The Last Drifters, so the next time you are not sure what to play, go to the main option section and tap on the scenario generator.
What you will find is a selection of sections giving you the details / ideas for a scenario, these include:-
Summary: this gives the basic outline for the scenario.
Starting Points: the starting points that each player gets to build their vehicles.
Starting Speeds: this sets out the speeds that all the vehicles in the game start at.
Starting Locations: this gives the positions or locations that all the vehicles start in.
Scenario Rules: This gives any special rules for the scenario.
Scoring Rules: this gives any points that the players can gain by doing curtain things during the game.
Game Ends: this lets you know how long the game goes on for.
When you first go into the Generate Scenario section these will all be set for you, but if any section doesn’t feel right or maybe you fancy trying something a different way then all you need to do is tap on the “Re-Do” arrow on the right side of the section you wish to change.
There are many possible combinations for these scenarios so they should offer lots of options for your games.
But of course, now and again something will not be fully usable, if this happens just tap on the ‘Generate Scenario’ button again and see what new scenario ideas you get.
You may also find that some sections may only offer a few options, this will depend on the selected summary.
