Pirates and Freighters

Had a little time tonight to get some painting done, and managed to get some of the pirate ships finished, also managed to get some freighters finished so that they would have some convoys to attack…

 

First up is the small rag tag band of pirates, using captured freighters and civilian ships

The pirates normally use heavy freighters as their main ships, with all the upgrades in shields and armour they can take a lot of punishment

The pirates use light freighters as well

The pirates also use civilian ships, mostly liners and passenger transports, but really anything that they can capture and turn into some sort of fighting ship

Then we have a very small clipper class ship ( or shuttle ) these are used by the pirates for boarding actions

 

All pirates love to rob things, so here are a selection of transports or freighters full of lovely booty!!

I still have a load of the smaller civilian type ships to paint, so I will probably paint them as a different pirate force, that will give me the chance to put together a couple of scenarios around the two pirate forces.

 

I am still collecting odd bits and pieces for the new alien ships, I still have a lot to get so it might be a while before I can get to paint them…
